Our Design Process

Developing your site is a simple 4-Step process.

Each step takes a week to complete and here’s how it works:

 Week 1:
- receive signed agreement and deposit
- choose the site images and color scheme
- develop your initial site layout
- adjust layout, if necessary, and produce final layout

 Week 2:
- create all the site pages, forms, navigation buttons and menus
- build and test the site Control Panel

 Week 3:
- take your supplied content and populate all the site pages
- produce any flash animations required
- enable all links and forms

 Week 4:
- clean-up any text corrections
- setup email boxes
- test all links
- test all forms
- point the domain name and turn on the site

What makes our design team so special ?
We give you a link to your site on our development servers so you can
see your site as it is being constructed.

We develop using the latest technology programming languages to create your site.

Our developers are skilled in HTML, PHP, MySQL, Flash, and Javascript, as well as the server-side tools to provide site security with SSL.

We also create your mailboxes, setup your forms, and assist with your domain name registration and transfers.

We also spend time researching your business and your competitors'
websites so your site stands out among the competition.

Design Styles:

From our experience, there are several site layout styles that work well for the Internet based on the screen size settings of the user community.

For 97% of the Internet users, their screen size is set to one of three standard size settings. Along with the percentage of the user community, they are:

Percentage of Internet Users by Screen Size
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
Based on 2009 survey results.

We can design your site to any specifications you require but we usually fit our designs to the 1024 x 768 size AND design the content area to fit within an 800 x 600 space. This will accomodate most users. There are several reasons why...

First, the 1024 x 768 size allows most users to view a site in its entirety without them having to scroll left and right in addition to up and down.

Secondly, when a user wants to print a page, this site size prints the entire page without cutting off the right side on the printout. Note: Depending on some users' printer settings, a site may have a small portion of the right edge cut off.

Some of our designs, incorporate a background style that makes your site appear to stretch to fit the entire screen.

Here are a few of our site styles and screenshots of how they will apear within the various screen settings.
